Is it still possible to tell the difference between real concrete and a 3D printed reproduction? Perhaps the question we should be asking is - does it even matter anymore? When concrete enters into the screen it is re-born. Liberated from its own failed history, it is free to acquire an alternative future. It is compressed and downloaded until it loses information, it becomes unstable; it is vibrant matter. It becomes entangled in a complex network of duplications, distorting and destabilising the original; shifting our understanding of truth and reality - if we can still recognise reality.
